During a session, the practitioner uses their hands, thumbs, elbows, and feet to apply rhythmic pressure, gentle stretches, and joint mobilization to the recipient's body. The massage is performed on a mat on the floor, with the recipient fully clothed in comfortable attire. Thai yoga massage aims to release tension, improve flexibility, stimulate energy flow, and promote overall well-being.
